Reading ‘The Twisted Ones’ in bites, omnomnomnom. Haven’t quite yet gotten to full on chicken skin grues, possibly because I’m having too much fun with the imagery. I have met dogs like Bongo; not the sharpest tool in the shed, but eminently skritchable.
p.s. Ever heard of a type of squash called ‘Red Kuri’? Japanese in origin, I hope it is like many squashes and enjoys hot, dry weather, because that’s just what it’s getting. Took less than a week to germinate — unless that’s the cantaloupe seeds that were already in the repurposed compost area.
