We came, we saw, we grouted.

Then we stood around going "Eeee! I can’t believe we did that! It looks so much better!" and hugging and squeeing. We’ll have to scrub the tile down in a week and caulk everything, the walls need repainting, and I want to repaint the cupboards black and change out the handles, but it’s well on the way to being, like, a Real Finished Room. Eee! (There will be at least iPhone photos tomorrow, when it’s set.)

I am unbelievably sore from nearly an hour of wiping down grout on my knees, and Kevin’s in much worse shape, but we live!

Tomorrow the toilet gets put back on, and I don’t have to stagger downstairs in the middle of the night. And I can’t tell you how pleased I am by THAT.
