Here’s the second of the little shrines! (Yes, I feel terribly guilty about the inaccuracy of the chicken wing. I tried so very hard…*sigh*) Smokin’ Chicken! Meanwhile, Happy Cthulhu’s little house at R’lyeh procedes apace. Modeling paste takes way too long to dry.

Hey, guys! The EMG rodent calendar of my art from last year’s on sale–you can still spend half a year with the rodent family! Rodents We Have Known At A Discount Plus, there’s a new Wombat Droppings column up that collects a lot of the stuff about art directors from the Beloit College talk I […]
My dreams are often a mishmash of things, but real estate and Bleach was a new one on me. (That’s what I get for watching anime right before bed…) The house surrounded by black prairie dogs was pretty cool–weird, painted concrete walls in many of the rooms, sort of hippie industrial chic. Dear nameless customer, I would love to help you. Truly I would. I am very sorry that we were out of stock of the table you wanted. That does indeed suck, and I wish we had one to sell you. However, when I have scoured the store and explained that no, we really don’t have […]
Still fooling around with that Day of the Dead style stuff. Here’s another wee little one–I didn’t build a shrine around this one. Mostly I’m playing around with what I can do in the limited space, that’s bright and bold and amusing. When I get another design I’m really enamored of, I’ll probably construct the […]
I have recently been very enamored with the Day of the Dead and the notion of personal shrines. Somehow the two came together. 3-D isn’t my strong suit, but this was fun to put together anyway, and has, of course, an obligatory chicken. Chicken Shrine
