I know some people cannot work when people are talking to them. In this case, the only way I could even begin to face the amount of colored pencil work required was to have a bunch of people talking to me. It took three and a half hours at the coffee shop, multiple shots of espresso, and countless monkey and leprosy jokes, but at last, the tree came out.

If I ever get the nerve up to do a follow up–I still think a badger dryad would be awesome–it’ll undoubtedly take another marathon session at the Toad to get through another tree.
