I’ve discovered a regrettable side-effect of this minimalist cave-painter thing.

She-is and He-is, the great and terrible firstborn hyena creator gods, “is being all, all tribe in two, yes?,” who are having a typical creation myth rife with murder and infanticide* are…kinda cute.

It’s the minimalist thing–the more simplified something is, the cuter it gets, I swear. And when they have blunt muzzles and rounded bodies, and even though the eyes are black slashes, they’re hitting that cute line.

Oh, well. I suppose cute things can crush the landscape underfoot as well as anybody…

*And possibly incest, although that’s glossed over and may only come out later, depending on what I decide.
