Following a lot of recent dust ups about voter registration companies destroying the forms of people who register for the wrong political party (the case we’ve been hearing about has Democrats having their forms torn up, but political ugliness knows no partisanship, so Republicans should probably be wary too) I’d urge ANYBODY who registered to vote via a registration company to double check, call your voting office, make sure you really ARE registered–particularly if you live in a swing state.

Whether it’s true or not, if you HAVE registered by such a process, regardless of party affiliation, it really can’t hurt to check.
