Still beating my head against that tree bark. The problem is that I’ve got a cool texture going on, but it runs at essentially the same contrast across the whole of the trunk. So the texture looks 3-D, but the trunk looks flat. Application of dark washes and light details to commence shortly…

And, in other news, Graphic Smash launches tomorrow, and I am so damn excited I’m twitching. The forum for “Digger” has gone up, though. It will doubtless sound dreadfully pathetic of me, but I’ve never had a forum before! *sniffle* Even if the tumbleweeds go rollin’ through the vast, echoing silence, I still feel giddy and slightly embarassed. But in a good way.
