First things first…new Digger! Some of you’ve read it already, of course, but I like to be consistent.

James saw a blue hummingbird sitting on the bouganvillea while I was out buying matting supplies. His photo didn’t really turn out, but digging through the stuff on-line would seem to indicate a female Anna’s hummingbird as the most likely suspect. Generally what we get seem to be the usual array of black-chinned hummingbirds, but he described this one as a sort of stellar’s jay blue hummingbird. Nifty–I’ll have to keep an eye out.

Still trying to get ready for Anthrocon. Even if I lose my shirt and fail to sell a single print, I’ll be really glad when it’s over–the prep is killin’ me. But que sera, sera…
