I’ve made an update to the site today, namely a new FAQ Page! It’s a lot prettier and easier to update, and I hope you like it.

Also, Ursula and I are preparing for DucKon 2011, where she will be Artist GoH, and our annual trip to Pittsburgh for AnthroCon! We are, as always, excited to hang out with friends and fans at both conventions, and hope to see you there.

Whew! Long time no update!

Clearly the most crucial detail is the one on the left–Dragonbreath 3: Curse of the Were-Wiener, an epic adventure involving rats, hot dogs, and the return of the potato salad, is in stores now!

It’s received a Kirkus starred review and a Junior Library Guild Selection, and I gotta say, I’m pretty proud of it.

In other news, life continues keepin’ on. I’m running a Taxman II print run, ending October 18th. We have tons of originals for sale over in the Originals section. After several weeks of relatively back-breaking labor, I have turned Kevin’s front yard into a rather winding garden path. Everything else worth knowing, you can probably find in the art or the blog.

Hello, world! Two things–first of all, Foxloft is offering some snazzy new pendants of my bird art! (And while you’re there, check out the other awesome glass pendant designs–I mean, mine are cool and all, but there’s some SERIOUSLY neat stuff up there.)

And big mega-wumbo announcement–is wumbo a word? Wasn’t that on Spongebob once?–Dragonbreath 2: Attack of the Ninja Frogs is released today!

(Like you couldn’t have guessed from the big graphic over there…)

Although people have been getting them delivered from Amazon earlier in the week, and they may be in stores already (I’ll have to check) but yay! Book two is officially out! How cool izzat?

Just a note to let you know that I will be out of town for a convention next week, which isn’t that big a deal except that my printer will ALSO be out of town with me! Which means that I have to ship it in advance and everything, and ship it back, with the end result that any prints ordered in the next week and a half will have a delay in being shipped out. I’m hoping to have everything back up and running by the end of the month, and this shouldn’t be that significant a disruption, just wanted to letcha know.

Any prints ordered before the 15th will be going out on schedule, everything from the 15th on is gonna be delayed.

Originals should still go out just fine.

Nifty thing, new from Foxloft–a hand-carved Tagua pendant, in the form of our very own Red Wombat!

I’ve got two of these pendants, one in a wombat and one in a wild boar and they really are cool and very wearable. (Also, Foxfeather is awesome. I’ve got to scan the walrus-and-radish she drew for me–made the rest of us look like rank amateurs. And she likes musk-oxen. Nobody who loves musk-oxen can be bad.)

We’ll hopefully have some more pendants available in the future–I’m contemplating doing Biting Pears, although I’ll have to tweak the design to go so small, and we’re looking at some of the glass-pendant-prints in the near future, involving the Happy Barn Owl and Teeny Lovebird designs. Definitely look forward to more cool stuff from Foxloft and Red Wombat in the future!

And I just finished art for Dragonbreath 3. And next month I have to write Dragonbreath 4. I think I get to sleep at some point after that, but maybe not.

*pant, pant, pant*

Two exciting new things, though–we have Biting Pear figurines available for pre-order! I’ve got photos of the preliminary models, and this is gonna be pure awesome!

Next up, this is the last week to pre-order the hardcopy version of Irrational Fears! I’ve got my pre-press copies, and man, they did a very nice job.

A limited number of signed copies, however, will go on sale next Wednesday, at 8AM and 8PM Central (they want to make sure people in different time zones have a shot at them) I’ll post the link to that next Tuesday.

Meanwhile, however, if you’re here, consider it like the week before the Grand Opening. You can still check out the art, order the art, poke the art, even buy the art, we’re just chucking more frogs into the server to handle the eventual crowds.
