Working at an art supply store is dangerous. Yesterday I picked up two small linoleum blocks, some carving tools, and ink. I’ve never done printmaking in my life! But it was just…there…the aisle fraught with possibilities…the rows of brayers…all that ink… Never mind that I live in the shadow of Mt. Everest as far as print making goes.

My Parents, the Printmakers

Dangerous, man. Every time I see an interestingly sized canvas, I get itchy, and I don’t even like canvas as a painting surface.

Still, there’s never a bad time to try a new art form. Keeps the brain fresh. Right? Right.
