The spam in my inbox appeared to say “Turn heads at the beach with albinism!”
Hmm. I admit, albinos are certainly visually arresting…probably WOULD turn heads, particularly in a bikini…but wouldn’t you burn pretty bad, if you were an albino at the beach? I mean, I fry like a fritter on a griddle and I’ve got all my melanin intact…wait, how are they turning people into albinos anyway?
A closer look showed that they were advertising a product called “abslim.” My dreams of over-the-counter albinism, crushed before they’d truly begun. Oh, well.
Maybe I should get my eyes checked–this keeps happening. And yet, since it’s a comprehension, and my eyes are always fine at the doctor, perhaps it’s just my brain again…
