This one’s actually a mystery shrub. It has holly-like leaves, with the stickery bits, and it has pale blue berries. I don’t think it’s Oregon Grape, however–the berries are not round, but teardrop shaped, and clustered tightly together in large bunches, which appear to be growing in the crooks of the branches.
Anybody got any thoughts? Some kind of barberry, maybe, but that’s a big field.
Also, there’s a freakin’ osprey that lives in the park behind the house. Dude. An osprey. I am wowed.
