I amused myself with rococo art today. Surprisingly easy to do in slap-dash digital fashion–I can’t speak to the quality, but it was close enough to the feel to amuse me. It’s funny that I got there from looking at pop surrealism–cutting edge borrowing heavily from the 1700’s. Go figure.

I can’t imagine why people are so eager to get Their Style. I’ve been painting for over a decade now, and I’ve still never met A Style I wanted to live monogamously with for the rest of my life. Husband, sure. Style…nah.
