I was surprised and touched to see that “Digger” got nominated in three categories over at the Webcartoonists Choice Awards–outstanding black and white art, outstanding anthromorphic, and outstanding fantasy. I have no real hope of winning any of these–maybe anthromorphic, although Dinosaur Comics is probably gonna take it, and it’d be a stretch anyway–but of course Megatokyo and probably Order of the Stick will kick my ass in t’other two. I really don’t expect to win–based as much on the fact that a subscription webcomic generally has about a tenth the fan base of a non-subscription as anything else, it’d be highly unlikely. But it’s an honor to be nominated, anyway–I didn’t expect that at all! The wombat goes places!
